The Art of Falconry

The tradition of Moroccan falconry is carried on today in the region of El Jadida, just an hour away from Oualidia, as an artistic entertainment in the annual “moussem” celebration done in local villages.
Falconry is the hunting of wild quarry in its natural state and habitat by means of a trained bird of prey.
Discover this cultural tradition as an exclusive excursion to this region to learn about falcons and various types of Royal Moroccan birds.
Be prepared to experience a presentation by Falconry specialists showcasing high flying* and low flying** birds. There will be a demonstration flight and then the option of a special hunting tour.
* High-flying birds (Lanner and Peregrine, Gyrfalcon) high pole.
** Low-flying birds (Harris Eagle) on their perch.

Excursion available all year. The Art of Falconry excursion includes:
- Car transfer to the local Moroccan tribe
- Demonstration flight showcasing high flying and low flying birds
